Brief History
Established in 1924, Ceandess Ltd. was originally a pressings company specialising in fuel filler caps. The business expanded into the consumer market in the eighties, under the name of AVF. Although consumer products dominated the company from 1997, Ceandess operated as an autonomous engineering division.
In September 1999 Ceandess Ltd. was re-established as the legal entity under which the engineering business is conducted.
Investments in Laser Profile Cutting and Press Brake facilities were made in 2000. Robotic Welding was introduced in 2001 followed by Tube Manipulation in 2002. As well as the more recently installed Paint Plant. A plating line with Trivalent capability was installed 2005, which will mean that products can be processed more quickly, to benefit the customer. A 2nd Laser and Robotic Welder were purchased in 2006.
Ceandess (Wolverhampton)Ltd. will continue to be strongly focused on the requirements of its customer base of automotive, agricultural, engineering, and allied products.
